We stopped by here after a day of skiing and placed an order in person. We got caught in their peak hours so understandably, we waited around 20-30 min for our pizza. I'd recommend ordering from here well in advance since they get super busy! It's a small pizza and ice cream store so limited seating here. we ordered half the bee sting and half the straight trippin. The pizza dough and crust was great and I liked how there wasn't too much sauce or cheese to overpower the other stuff going on. I wish they added more toppings- there was barely any on either type that we ordered. The hot honey on the straight tripping slice was a great touch!

This pizza joint is legit! Ready made slices and specialty pizzas to order. Definitely call ahead because they sell out! Yes, they sell out! Cozy spots to enjoy a Tahoe lager while you wait for your pizza to get warmed up.

This is hands down the best pizza I have tasted in a long time. Thin, perfect crust and just the right amount of cheese/sauce (minimal). We got the CSI special with house made meatballs and burrata as well as a plain cheese. Very quality ingredients and traditional NY style. Can't wait to return! Thanks boys!

Really good pizza! I believe they only have outdoor seating so we got it to go. However they run out so you have to place your order way in advance (at least on a Saturday in the winter when we did) -- we ordered around 12 for an order at 5ish and when we picked up, they already had a sign they were done for the day.

While in Tahoe City for the Christmas holiday, my husband and I decided on our first night of arrival that we did not feel like cooking. Luckily for us, we called Mountain Slice Pizzeria, and they managed to still have some dough available to make us a pizza for that evening. The gentleman who answered the phone was extremely kind and engaging. We placed our order for a Detroit-style supreme pizza and he said it would be ready in 20 minutes. My husband went to pick it up and said that the staff were all extremely kind and friendly and very engaging. Once he brought the pizza back to where we were staying, we dug in! I absolutely love a thick Detroit-style pizza and this one did not disappoint. It was loaded with toppings, and the dough held up to all of its deliciousness. Tahoe City - consider yourself extremely fortunate to have such a wonderful pizzeria in your grasp.

Yeah, so if you want pizza, this is the place to get it from! This place gets busy for both pizza and ice cream! If you want pizza, I def recommend calling in. We walked in after a day of snowboarding and the guy said you can only have slices as the ovens full. If you want a whole pizza it will be an hour. The guy in the back said, "I'll make it happen for them, but only space for 2 pizzas". We ordered the supreme and a cheesy garlic bread. They came out and man, it was sooooo good. The place smells amazing and the pizza backs it up. We overheard the ice cream is from a dairy place 45 mins away and was very creamy. We ordered the chocolate banana to taste and it was way good! New book mark in my collection! These guys are busy, but the best and you can tell by the long line!

10/10 pizza slices in every category, cheese, crust, texture, size, taste! the faba was my favourite! mountain slice pizzeria really know what they're doing! the service was fast and helpful. my biggest tip is to get their house made buffalo sauce! so good and has a nice kick

Stopped in for a quick bite after a hike. Mountain slice pizzeria offers whole or pizza by the slice. Lots of unique flavors on the menu. Tried the sweet pig . It was really freaking good. Friendly service and they also have ice cream. Only downside is the restaurant itself is super small.
